Art Researchers' Guide Series

Each year, the Art Libraries Society of the UK and Ireland will add a title to its new series based on cities throughout the country, describing the major collections with public access to art and design resources. The aim of each book is to direct people to the most appropriate place to suit their research needs. Special features include:
-a city-wide map
-at-a-glance navigation icons
-a time-saving subject index to collections
-a peek into each place with full-colour images

Aimed at visual artists, academic researchers, art teachers, art students, these unique resources are edited and designed by Rose Roberto, with contributions from local librarians, archivists, and scholars.

The first book of the series is the Art Researchers' Guide to Leeds, published in July 2011. The second book in the series will be the Art Researchers' Guide to Edinburgh, scheduled to be published in 2012.
